Speaking on Sunday at Likoni Sub-County in Mombasa, Ruto said people across the country have seen the benefits Jubilee has brought them since 2013, a move that has placed the coalition at a good position ahead of the 2017 general election.

Ruto urged residents who have not joined Jubilee to do so for a land slide win in 2017 against the opposition Cord.

"Jubilee must deliver each and every day. This has increased our support and I assure you Jubilee will clinch the top seat in 2017,” said Ruto.

"Jubilee is and will always work around the clock to transform the county and improve the lives of the citizens,” he added.

The deputy president also accused the Cord coalition for opposing development projects initiated by the government.

"You have heard the opposition accusing Jubilee leadership of corruption and other false allegations. If it is true that Jubilee is corrupt, the development projects that have been initiated by the government would not have been met,” he noted.
