Bahati MP Onesmus Kimani Ngunjiri has assured his constituents that the Jubilee government will deliver on all the promises it made during the campaigns.

He spoke on Thursday at Bibilioni in Bahati during the burial ceremony of the late Mary Wambui Kariuki, 38, who died last Friday while asleep moments after celebrating Jubilee’s victory.

While lauding the residents of Bahati for drumming support for Jubilee and ensuring his win as well as that of President Uhuru Kenyatta, Ngunjiri called on them to remember the nation in prayers.

“Even though we have challenges here and there with the opposition moving to court, but let us know that the President is with you and let us remember to pray for the nation for peace to prevail,” he said.

“If Odinga says that the elections were not free and fair yet he has some of the governors and other leaders who are in Nasa but won, then they should also not accept to be sworn in,” Ngunjiri added.

President Uhuru Kenyatta also sent his message of condolence to the family.

In His message, the head of state termed the late a hard working family mother who ensured her family was well through micro businesses.

“The late was hardworking in various micro businesses a quality that should be emulated by all those who knew her,” read part of the message.

The late is survived by a husband and five children whom the area MP Onesmus Kimani Ngunjiri assured that the President had promised to ensure they get quality education.
