Sirisia Member of Parliament John Walukhe now says Western region will be turned into a Jubilee zone in the upcoming presidential election.

The MP who was re-elected on a Jubilee Party ticket said they are already putting in place mechanisms that will see their support significantly increases.

Addressing the press in Eldoret, Tuesday, Waluke told the National Super Alliance (NASA) to prepare for another defeat from President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"Our candidate Uhuru Kenyatta won the elections but now that the court has told us to go back to the ballot we have already hitting the road with campaigns. We want to give NASA a humiliating defeat," Walukhe said.

"Things have changed since the August polls and I want to declare here that Western is now a Jubilee zone and this we will show in the October polls," he added.

Walukhe is seen as a key Jubilee point man in the Luhya politics and managed to not only to retain his seat on a Jubilee ticket despite the NASA storm, but also helped Jubilee win over 120,000 Presidential votes from Bungoma county, home to Senator Moses Wetangula, a NASA principle.
