Jubilee regime has failed in its delivery of services to the people. Insecurity, economic lapse, massive corruption and unfulfilled promises are what defines the Jubilee regime. This is enough.
Have a look at the Jubilee honchos strong campaign tools towards 2013 general elections and what they have towards 2017. Jubilee had three main strong propagandas which made them be sworn as the country's leaders. The three points have been eroded with events and hence it will be suicidal for them to apply them in the next elections.
First, the ICC cases against them was a strength in disguise. The Kikuyu and Kalenjin communities had to unite so as to salvage their 'sons' from the claw of ICC. They lied to Kenyans that it was Raila who had taken them to ICC. The lie worked. Raila was seen as the traitor by the Jubilee naive supporters. Unfortunately as time elapsed, the truth was unearthed. Kuria came out and unequivocally said that it was the Mt Kenya folks who plotted Ruto's ICC case. Today the cases are terminated but the truth is also out.
Two, the Mau Forest eviction was another propaganda used by Ruto against Raila. As the then Prime Minister then, Odinga was in-charge of eviction. What Ruto did not tell his people is that it was Parliament which passed the motion and Raila was just implementing what the legislature had passed. Still the illiterate folks, who are the majority among the community, digested the lie. They hated Raila. To erode the lie, the Uhuruto regime has gone further to evict the Mau inhabitats and even torch their houses. They cannot blame Raila again. Raila was doing it to save the forest but Jubilee is doing it to grab the land for their personal interests. In Raila's case, it was the state interests which superseded personal interests but in Ruto's case, personal interests have superseded state interests.
Last, the youth factor. Jubilee in its campaigns promised youths jobs. It said that they would create over 1 million jobs annually. Youths voted them overwhelmingly. Since Jubilee took over, it has appointed octogenerians and septuagenerians for state jobs. Youths have been neglected and rejected. No jobs are being created but instead, money is being looted left, right, centre. Youths have lost hope in Jubilee and are disillutioned. Money which was meant for youths was looted by Bruce Odhiambo under Samrack company in which Uhuru and Itumbi have shares. NYS was looted to its knees by Ann Waiguru, Aden Duale, Kipchumba Murkomen and Farouk Kibet. This shows how Jubilee does not care about the youths and their fate.
In a nutshell, Jubilee have got no other strong points they will use for re-election in 2017.
