Opposition chief Raila Odinga has dismissed Jubilee administration as a ‘plague’ to Kenyan people and promised president Uhuru Kenyatta of a resounding defeat in August elections at his own backyard Central Kenya.
Odinga said Kenyans were tired of corruption adding that the president had failed to tackle it even in his own office.
The ODM leader was mobilizing his supporters to register as voters in Nyamira County, where he toured Gesima ward before flying to the neighbouring Kisii County on Thursday.
“I want to assure you that Jubilee administration is like a plague to this country. Uhuru has failed to tame corruption even in his own Harambee office,” he said.
He added: “I see a situation where he will even lose in his Central Kenya backyard because people are tired with him. Kenyans wants someone who can account for their money.”
Odinga was accompanied by local leaders among them Governor John Nyagarama, Timothy Bosire (Kitutu Masaba), James Gesami (West Mugirango) and area Women Representative Alice Chae.
