Maina Kamanda, MP for Starehe constituency has expressed confidence that Jubilee party will win the August 8 polls because of its popularity.
While addressing aspirants at Jubilee offices in Starehe constituency, Kamanda called on all aspirants who will lose in the party’s nomination not to panic but support the winners and in return they shall be given positions to serve in President Uhuru’s government.
“You can even become ward managers or chairs in different parastatals. But first you must support Jubilee as it is the one that will form the next government because of its popularity,” the MP said.
He further urged the Jubilee aspirants to continue mobilising people to register as voters since it is their constitutional right.
“Personally I don’t sleep as I move around ensuring that the voter registration is going on smoothly. I expect you also lead from the front,” Kamanda said, Wednesday.
