Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale has said that Jubilee affiliate parties shall remain on their own until September when they will be disbanded to make the larger Jubilee party.
In an interview with a local daily, Duale pointed out that they had struck a deal as a coalition that each party is to remain in their respective parties as stated in the Political Parties Act until September when they will convene a National Delegates Conference in a function set to unveil their Jubilee party leader.
Duale further assured that no politician would lose his or her elective seat after joining Jubilee Party as the Political Parties Act that was recently signed by the president cushions them against it.
He, however, noted that ethnic divisions in the country have threatened to divide peace loving citizens and leading to the influx of leaders who have no developmental agenda for Kenyans.
