Deputy President William Ruto has exuded confidence thatthe Jubilee Party will win in the next polls by over 70 per cent of the total votes cast.
Addressing church leaders and pastors at Nyang’ori Mission headquarters in Vihiga County, Ruto said that Jubilee has a good performance record and that they are now poised for the great returns when 2017 comes.
“We have already organised ourselves. We know who will be the presidential candidate as our competitors are still gambling. This time round, we shall not win with 50 per cent plus one. We will win with 70 per cent plus one votes,” he said.
He said that the government has done a lot for Kenyans, and admonished the opposition Cord for lacking strategy and better policy for citizens.
“We have done a lot in the education and electricity sectors. We are building a railway line and roads. We have increased capitation for schools and scrapped examination fees. Ask our competitors what they have offered that Jubilee has not,” Ruto said.
Ruto urged Vihiga residents to join Jubilee Party, saying the government had done a lot for them.
