Gatundu South Member of parliament Moses Kuria has said that they will win the next general election with more votes than in the last election.
Speaking at Amariba Secondary school during the Kisii youth Forum Roundtable edition Kuria assured the youths from 13 constituencies from the entire Gusii region that Jubilee will win the next general election with more votes than in 2013.
“We need to calculate our mathematics, in the last general election we managed to get 6.1 million votes, without being tribal most votes were from Central and Rift Valley which was about 5 million,” said Kuria.
“It means that the other 1 million was from other regions, we are sure that we already have 5 million votes in the bag,” added Kuria.
In addition, he challenged the youths to work with the government and vote for Jubilee in the next general election.
“I have never seen people who vote so that they can join the opposition, we know that last time you voted for Cord since you wanted to be in government but it failed hence we welcome you to Jubilee so that we can work together,” said Kuria.
In the meeting, he said that Jubilee has identified youths as the key pillar of the nation and that why they don’t what to leave them out in the next general election.
