It is no longer a rosy affair with the Jubilee party leadership and contractors who provided services during the party nominations last month.
Clerks, Presiding officers and even transporters in some parts are yet to be paid despite assurances by officials.
In Elgeyo Marakwet, transporters on Saturday disrupted the issuance of nomination certificates in the county demanding payment for transporting election materials during the April 24 primaries.
Led by Godwin Kosgei, the transporters blocked the entrance to the office using their vehicles as the meeting between nominees and county JP officials went on.
Kosgei claimed some party officials in the county pocketed the money meant for transporters.
In Muranga, clerks who were hired in the last minute after day one nominations are also yet to be paid.
Hellen Wambui said the county leadership has been evading answering questions on how and when they will be paid.
A transporter, Ethan Mwangi said he provided two vans and the party said they would send money after completion but a month later the contact person is yet o pay.
"We will have to now sit and strategise on how to make the party even if it means storming the headquarters because we cannot work for people who do not have our interests at heart," he said.
