Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong has hit out at Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba for ditching ODM for the Labour Party.
Speaking during a morning interview on Radio Maisha on Wednesday, Ojaamong said Ababu received money from Jubilee party heads in order to turn against ODM.
He said Ababu should not have left ODM since it was a party with a vision.
"Ababu should not have left ODM. However, he was blinded by money from the Jubilee side and sort to ditch ODM for the Labour Party," said Ojaamong.
He, however, said Ababu was a visionary leader who was set for greater heights in the country's political arena.
Ojaamong believes that the switch Ababu made will cost him politically saying that the money taps from Jubilee had already dried up leaving Ababu with nowhere to turn to.
"Ababu was a visionary leader who was destined for greatness in this country's political game. The switch that he made from ODM to Labour party will, however, cost him considering the Jubilee party money taps have already dried up," added Ojaamong.
