Jubilee poll losers in Kilifi have unveiled a new tactic in their quest to ensure President Uhuru Kenyatta beats NASA leader Raila Odinga in the county.Led by former Kilifi North Member of Parliament Gideon Mung’aro, the leaders met for the first time in public on Thursday, September 14, to drum up support for the Head of State ahead of the repeat presidential election slated for October 17.The leaders are now wooing the Mijikenda, the largest community in the Coast region, to rally behind President Uhuru.“We came back to give direction for the Mijikenda in the whole county,” said Mung’aro, as quoted by the Star. The leaders affirmed that they will pitch tents in different parts of the county to ensure Uhuru emerges victorious following the nullification of his re-election by the Supreme Court.Mung’aro and the other Jubilee leaders in the county who claimed they lost in the August 8 polls after being rigged out by Governor Amason Kingi, expressed optimism that they will win the petitions they filed in court. The leaders were speaking at Mwarakaya Secondary School in Kilifi South where they officiated the handing over a Sh7 million school bus donated by Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto.
