Jubilee Party will use police officers to escort voters from their homes to polling stations in the October 26 repeat presidential poll, Kimilili Member of parliament Didmus Barasa has said.Barasa said Jubilee has already strategised on how they will ensure all the votes are cast in favour of their party leader President Uhuru Kenyatta.Among the strategies he mentioned include the use of police officers to ensure law and order during the poll.“We will ensure all our votes are cast, we won’t let anyone cause any tension or ugly scene anywhere during the poll. Any behaviour of such nature will be swiftly responded to by the police,” said Barasa.“In volatile areas, we will call the police to help escort the voters to the poll centres and back home,” he added.Speaking in Sirisia Constituency on Thursday, the legislator said not even a single vote will remain uncast. He said it was the constitutional mandate of every citizen to cast his vote in favour of his/her preferred candidate.Bungoma Senator and Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka praised President Uhuru Kenyatta for his development records in Western Kenya.Whereas Jubilee is on a mission to woo its supporters to turn up for the poll, NASA, on the other hand, is wooing their supports to boycott the election and turn up for their planned demos on the same day.
