Jublee Primary School in Dujis Contituency of Garissa County is the latest beneficiary of Jubilee laptops in the digital literacy programme.
Youth Affairs PS Lillian Omollo, who was involved in the distribution of the laptops in Garissa County, said the Jubilee administration would push on with the programme that is set to offer quality education to enable the bulk of primary school kids to fully utilize their growing intellectual and creative abilities even at their tender age.
Omollo further noted that the ministry of education has already trained over seventy thousand primary teachers specifically for the digital programmes.
The digital literacy project is part of the many promises that the Jubilee administration promised during their campaigns prior to the 2013 presidential elections..
In line with the laptop project is electricity connectivity, where all schools across the counties were set to be connected to reliable power supply in readiness for the official rollout exercise of the laptops, even as statistics reveal that many schools are without descent learning installations.
