In the event held in Bluepost Hotel Thika, the journalists, Community and Human Rights organisations gathered to get the knowledge on the nationwide process that began in September 2010.

Speaking in the event, JMVB chairman Sharad Rao said it has been a tough journey and assignment for the board but they are aiming at achieving their goals by the time their contract ends in December 2015.

"We have encountered a lot of challenges since we commenced the assignment but we are sure of achieving what we have put aside in our manifesto," Rao said.

He added that the board has so far shown the public what they are capable of doing by vetting and naming of both suitable and unsuitable judges and magistrates.

"You have been covering our vetting processes and everyone knows that we have been. The process in collaboration with the media has been successful from the start up to now," he added.
