[Photo| @JudiWakhung]The outgoing Cabinet Secretary for Environment and Regional Development Authorities Judi Wakhungu has thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta for her new position in government.Wakhungu was on Friday named as Kenya’s Ambassador to France.Wakhungu was among CSs who were dropped from their positions and appointed as ambassadors to different countries in Uhuru's second term in office. In a tweet, the incoming ambassador noted that she would serve Kenyans in diligence & commitment in her new role. She further thanked Kenyans and his environmental team for the support they gave her under the environment docket. "I wish to thank H.E. @UKenyatta for nominating me Kenya’s Ambassador to France. I look forward to serving with diligence & commitment. I wish to thank my team @Environment_Ke & all Kenyans for their support during my tenure as CS Environment & NR. We made tremendous strides," Wakhungu said.
