Top Jubilee Party leadership has accused the Judiciary arm of government of favouring Opposition coalition NASA.

In an address to the media at the Intercontinental Hotel, Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju questioned why a matter brought before the Supreme Court seeking the postponement of the just concluded repeat polls was supposedly hurried for hearing.

Tuju noted that despite a case filed by JP against NASA leader Raila Odinga for contempt of court being certified as urgent, it was set aside for hearing after yesterday's elections.

"The Supreme Court was not able to find time to hear our case until Friday. The harm would have already been done," he remarked.

The case was also seeking to have the Opposition chief barred from intimidating voters on election day.

Tuju was accompanied by a host of Jubilee leaders, including former Senate speaker Ekwe Ethuro and former Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba.
