Chief Justice David Maraga has assured President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto that the Judiciary will not frustrate the war on corruption.
The CJ said the judiciary under his leadership will not spare corrupt individuals who will be arraigned in courts.
“Your excellency count the Judiciary as part of the stakeholders committed to end corruption in this country.
"Suspects will have their cases heard in courts and anyone who will be found guilty will face the rule of law alone,” he said.
Maraga called on leaders across all corners of this country to embrace peace, unity and harmony.
He said leaders should not misuse or misappropriate funds meant for development.
“God can bless all of us if we mind to preserve the national wealth for the poor people in the villages.
"Leaders should utilize the available resources to uplift the lives of poor Kenyans who are struggling with poverty in villages,” said Maraga.
Maraga was speaking at Safari Park Hotel during the national prayer breakfast in Nairobi on Thursday morning.
