He said judiciary will fast-track hearing and determination of cases in major courts across the country, to enhance efficiency.

“I want to tell all Kenyans that all pending cases in courts spanning the period of five years ago will be listened to and ruled out as soon as possible,” he said.

Speaking during an opening ceremony of a new building at the Bungoma Law Courts, Justice Maraga urged Kenyans to opt for solving petty cases out of Court to reduce backlog in Courts.

Maraga further disclosed there was a plan to have some Courts renovated in two years time.

They include Siaya, Nyamira, Kajiado, Wajir, Ol-Kalou, Mombasa, and Meru Law Courts.

“We are renovating most courts all over the country to enable our staff work with ease,” he said.
