Devolution Cs Mwangi Kiunjuri has claimed that the Judiciary is working in cahoots with the opposition in its rulings on cases concerning the August 8 general election.
Kiunjuri said the Judiciary cannot be trusted anymore following their latest rulings on cases launched by the opposition NASA.
His remarks comes after the ruling by the Judiciary that election results be announced at constituency level will be final and could not be altered.
The Cs reiterated that all the cases that had been taken to court by the opposition had been ruled in their favor, thus casting suspicion of their credibility to handle future cases fairly.
“I cannot withdraw what I said about the performance of the Judiciary because it is clear that they are biased. You saw the composition of the Judges that made the ruling on presidential vote tallying and the ones who have been assigned to handle the printing of ballot papers", said Kiunjuri as quoted by KNA.
He cautioned that some rulings are a recipe for chaos and that instead of the Judiciary exercising fairness, they were fanning trouble.
