Juja Legislator Francis Munyu has asked Kabete locals to support Ferdinand Waititu (Baba Yao) who is vying for the parliamentary seat on Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) ticket following the demise of the late area MP George Muchai.

Legislator Munyu who addressed the public in Kabete said that the former Embakasi Lawmaker (Waititu) has the potential and the required skills to be the area MP.

Munyu claimed that Waititu has a proper development agenda that will help transform the lives of Kabete people. “We appeal to Kabete residents to vote for Ferdinand Waititu in the coming Kabete by-election.”

The Juja Legislator further urged residents to remain calm an shun politicians who will want to cause trouble in the area during the campaign period adding that Kabete people love peace and that they should not tolerate perpetrators of hate speech.

The MP said that Kiambu leaders will be behind Kabete locals as they go to the ballot box come May 4.

Meanwhile, Munyu urged JAP to take the Kabete by-election seriously to avoid losing as it happened in Kajiado Central on Monday where Elijah Memusi won on an ODM Party ticket ahead of his JAP rival Patrick Tutui with 16008 votes compared to 15, 508 votes of Tutui.

“JAP must strategies well and ensure it clinches the seat that was left vacant by the late MP Muchai whom together with his three aides were killed early February by an armed gunman in Nairobi’s Uhuru Highway.
