The Juja Constituency Development Fund office has set aside Sh17 million in the 2015/2016 financial year to rehabilitate and construct new public primary schools.
The revelation was made by MP Francis Waititu on Thursday when he led Kalimoni Ward MCA Joel Waichere and other leaders to commission a public school in the area.
Munyua said his office will ensure that children in the constituency get quality education by equipping schools with adequate facilities besides building more.
He further noted that the construction of a secondary school and a hospital in the area will bring services closer to the locals who have been forced to travel to other towns to access them.
“I know you have been travelling to Thika and Ruiru in search of services but that will come to an end soon,” he said.
