Renowned media personality Julie Gichuru has come out to condemn as propaganda the allegations that she stalked NASA leader Raila Odinga in his tour outside the country.

This is after the claims had dominated social media talk, with leaders like Narok senator legislator Ledama ole Kina urging Julie to come clear on the matter.

Gichuru said she had already received death threats following what she termed as fake reports after landing at JKIA around the same time as Raila.

Through her Twitter account, she asked IG Joseph Boinett and acting interior CS Fred Matiang’i to begin an immediate investigation into the matter, terming the allegations as “vile, vicious, dangerous and fake.”

She said she had travelled to Ghana last Sunday and then headed to Moscow where she moderated a conference on ways to end TB.

"Have some crazy bloggers made VILE, VICIOUS, DANGEROUS & FAKE allegations about me & RAO? This one @JBoinnet @FredMatiangi you must investigate. I do not believe in harming others. Never have. Never will. Never would. Now I am getting death threats over FAKE NEWS. Pathetic!" she said.

"Let me be clear for those so determined to believe foolish lies. I travelled to Accra, Ghana on Sunday to guide sessions on the new media era in Africa for Bloomberg, then to Moscow to a global conference on Ending TB where I moderated," she tweeted.

"I headed back to Kenya via Dubai with a four hour transit at the airport. I travel light, with only hand luggage by the way. Dear FAKE bloggers, if ANY gas was found on me or ANY threatening items, in this era of terror, I would not get through ANY airport," she added.

"I will keep saying this, these FAKE NEWS ninjas are dangerous people. Very dangerous. And no one is holding them to account. @mucheru @FredMatiangi @JBoinnet @wangusi you are leaving this country at the mercy of their vicious trade. This cannot continue. Something must be done," an angry Gichuru further said.
