[Photo|Dr Wiliam Kingi]Mombasa County deputy governor, Dr William Kingi attended a consultative meeting with fellow deputy governors from the Jumuiya ya Kaunti za Pwani (JKP) organised by the JKP Secretariat.Alongside Kilifi county Deputy Governor Gideon Saburi, Taita Taveta's Majala Mlagui and Lamu's Adul Hakiim, they engaged with the JKP top leadership on how to enhance regional cooperation and operationalize the JKP economic blue print.They also deliberated on the modalities of establishing a legal frame work for the JKP to improve the efficiency and credibility of its operations. All the counties agreed to create a JKP board that will be integrated with the existing administrative structures within the counties."The future of our region is secure under JKP, the future of Mombasa is brighter under JKP; MV035 is no longer a dream but a reality," said Kingi, Saturday.
