(Photo/kahawatungu.com) The Member of Parliament for Suna East Junet Mohamed has highlighted two main issues which he believes are affecting the country.According to Junet, the country is suffering from electoral injustices and divisions among Kenyans.In fact, he believes the country is divided due to electoral injustices which he perceives have been ongoing in the country for quite a while.
"The country is suffering from two major problems which are electoral injustices and divisions among Kenyans. In fact, the main reason Kenyans are divided now is due to electoral injustices," reiterated Junet.
Junet further defended National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga's remarks that he will be sworn-in as president by the people's assembly.
In his view, all sovereign power lies with the people as defined by the Constitution under Article 1.
"All sovereign power lies with the people as defined by the Constitution under Article 1 and hence Raila made no mistake in his statement. However, NASA will give more communication starting tomorrow (Wednesday) on what it intends to do," added Junet.
The legislator made the remarks on Tuesday on Citizen TV.
