Speaking during Citizen TV's The Big Question show, Junet accused the Jubilee administration of linking Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho to drug trafficking.

Junet faulted the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led government for using a report presented by the late George Saitoti in 2010, to politicise the fight against drugs in a bid to gain political mileage in the Coast region.

The MP lashed out at Marwa for allegedly frustrating Joho.

“Why we think they are targeting Joho, this monkey…this Coast regional coordinator has been on Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho’s case for a while, abusing people and issuing alarming sentiments targeting Governor Joho,” he said.

Junet refused to apologise for using the term, and dared the regional coordinator to take him to court.

In reference to DP Ruto, Junet said “paedophiles are worse than drug peddlers.”

This comes after Prisca Chemutai sued the DP over child neglect, claiming she had sirred a child with him when she was still a student at Moi University.

During a press briefing on Tuesday in Mombasa, Joho criticised Uhuru and Ruto for politicising the issue of drugs, and asked the two to clean up their house first, before pointing an accusing finger at him.

He further dared the government to arrest him if at all they have evidence of him engaging in the illegal business.
