Suna East MP Junet Mohamed has called on the Jubilee administration to fight corruption in the country and not focus on individuals.

Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV on Tuesday night, Junet said that the Jubilee administration was fighting individuals and not corruption. 

"We cannot have the government claiming to be fighting corruption while all they are doinv is fight individuals. This has to stop and the corruption menace in the country should be faced head on," said Junet. 

He called on the government to use the Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission (EACC), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and all the other organs fo fight corruption. 

Earlier, Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wa during a press briefing linked Junet to the NYS scam.

According to Ichung'wa, Junet had received tenders inappropriately hence linking him to the NYS scandal.
