Former Suna East Parliamentary aspirant in the August 8 election Patrick Odipo has been detained.
Odipo was arrested on Tuesday by the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) detectives over alleged forgery of KCSE certificate.
According to EACC, the suspect used a KCSE certificate belonging to someone else to seek clearance from IEBC to vie for the Suna East Constituency Parliamentary seat.
"Suspect to be charged for personation and giving false information to the Commission," EACC wrote on its official Twitter account, Tuesday.
The parliamentary seat was won by ODM's Junet Mohammed who was re-elected for a second term.
