Suna East MP Junet Mohamed has rubbished claims that NASA leader Raila Odinga is negotiating for a coalition government with president elect Uhuru Kenyatta.

Junet says that Raila is not interested in a coalition government sating that NASA’s agenda and focus is to have fresh presidential election and not power sharing with Jubilee.

Speaking during an interview on NTV on Wednesday, the ODM Director of Elections said that Raila’s call for formation of an interim government does not translate or equal to a coalition government.

He said that the idea of an interim government is for it to take charge of the country as constitutional reviews are done for fresh presidential election.

“People should stop scorning Raila Odinga because he is not after or interested in a ‘Nusu Mkate’ government with Jubilee,” he said during the interview.

The ODM MP said that Raila’s fight and push for electoral justice is for the interest of Kenyans.

Junet state that NASA’s push for reforms is unstoppable expressing confident that fresh presidential election will be held in three months’ time.

He asked Jubilee to prepare itself for titanic battle noting that things are not yet over until when the country will conduct credible presidential election.

The MP trashed the October 26 repeat poll that IEBC used to declare Uhuru winner saying it means nothing.

On Tuesday during an interview with Reuters, Raila was quoted calling for formation of an interim government.

The opposition has vowed to push for electoral reforms and justice through its newly established National Resistance Movement (NRM).
