Suna East lawmaker Junet Mohammed has accused the ruling Jubilee government of failing to deliver on most of its 2013 general election campaign promises.

Speaking at the ODM party headquarters in Orange House on Tuesday, the opposition MP said that some of the promises given by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto are still yet to be implemented further saying that they were only made to cheat Kenyans into electing the team into power.

''The Jubilee team promised to ensure that every Kenyan gets high quality health care and ensure quality education for all children but we are still waiting for that to happen,'' said Junet.

Junet also said that the Jubilee's promise of creating national wealth and lowering food prices are also yet to be fulfilled with only 4 months remaining before their term in office expires.

''Jubilee's promise that it will create national wealth has remained an empty promise. They promised to reduce the prices of food but instead the prices have doubled,'' he said.

This comes at a time when his opposition side, under its umbrella the National Super Alliance (NASA) is seeking to unseat Jubilee in the approaching general polls set for August 8.
