Suna East MP Junnet Mohammed, who also doubles as ODM party Director of Elections will head Raila Odinga’s forth campaign team ahead of August elections.
With only three months to elections, Odinga is set to unveil his campaigns on June 3 at Kakamega’s Masindo Muliro grounds.
And in what is seeing as a calculated move to win the votes of Islamic religion, Mohammed will work closely with Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdullahi and Mombasa Women Representative Mishi Mboko.
Mohammed, a confident of Odinga, has been working strategically for years to consolidate ODM’s popularity in Coastal, North Eastern and other regions inhibited by Muslims.
In a campaign strategy crafted by NASA think tanks, Odinga will head the first team which also comprises of Moses Wetangula, Josephat Nanok, Isa Timamy and David Nkedianye.
The second team will be led by Musalia Mudavadi and will comprise of Hassan Joho, Aisha Jumwa and Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto.
Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka will head the third team that will comprise of former Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim, Wycliffe Oparanya and Amason Kingi.
