[Photo/www.actors.co.ke]Kakamega senator Cleophas Malalah has been put under house Arrest at his residence in Kakamega county.Speaking to KTN News on phone, Malalah said he alongside his family and other political leaders from the county have been locked in the house.According to the senator, over 50 police officers surrounded his house at around 10.00am on Monday to block him from attending the anti-IEBC demos in Kakamega town.He further noted that the police told him the protests had been cancelled.
The senator has condemned the incident insisting the demos will still continue despite his house arrest.Demonstrations are however ongoing in the county led by former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale.
