Speaking to NTV during a news interview Saturday, the prominent businessman dismissed assertions that he was power hungry after declaring his interest in the Njoro parliamentary seat.
"I have a very strong passion for public service and that explains why I opted for the parliamentary seat,"he said.
Kabage was trounced by Nakuru County Assembly Speaker Susan Kihika with over 150,000 votes in the senatorial race. He has since disputed the results insisting that the polls were flawed.
