Kabarnet Boys Secondary School in Baringo county was on Thursday 21st indefinitely closed for the third time this term after a fire outbreak in the school consumed a dormitory destroying property worth Sh180 million
The students were wrapping up with taking their dinner and planning to go to their night studies when the fire broke out.
However, no injuries were reported from the 7pm incident.
This came as plans of the readmission of the students who had been on a two-week suspension for threatening to set the school on fire were underway thus disrupting the programme.
Prior to their suspension, the learners purportedly attempted to burn the school on grounds that they were denied a second term break.
