Residents of Kabatini ward have lauded the county government of Nakuru for supplying enough medicine at the Kabatini health centre in Bahati constituency.
The residents said they can now enjoy the services at the health facility because of the availability of drugs.
"For a long time we were forced to go to the Provincial General Hospital or private clinics to get medicine but now we have every kind of medicine we need here and we want to thank the county government for that," said Mary Njeri, a resident.
Agnes Mwangi said the availability of medicine has made healthcare more affordable to them.
"If they keep doing this then I think we will continue enjoying the fruits of devolution because now healthcare is just at our doorsteps,"she said.
Early this week, the county government supplied the health facility with medicines worth Sh1 million.
