Kabogo who initially opened a county court in the region to deal with petty offenders promised the residents of the area that a high court would boost security and deal with crimes.

This comes after the governor earlier during the opening of the county court vowed to give a space to the judiciary to establish a high court, proved to be futile.

He said that Thika sub-county is a business oriented town and thus many investors have come in to create more employment to the members of the public who are youths citing the recent opening of the Society Store Market which employed more the 30 youths.

He added that the Murang’a High court has been overburdened with many cases and thus a high court will impact faster services openness and accountability in Kiambu County.

The county boss who was speaking on Wednesday in Thika town also said that the Thika Magistrate Court has been under pressure for a long time and thus with the help of the Judicial officers they managed to open a county court which has been dealing with petty crimes and has been a boost in the Kiambu County.

“Mr. Deputy President, Thika Magistrate court was being overburden with magistrate working for long hours and the establishment of the county court has ease service delivery and am certain Thika Judiciary are well pleased,” said Kabogo
