Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has condemned the killing of Ngechu location Chief Peter Kairu and asked the police to arrest the killers and bring them to book.
The Governor said that crime was slowly returning to some parts of the county, and ordered the County Commissioner Alex Nkoyo to guarantee the security of locals.

The Kiambu boss urged the police to conduct patrols and ensure criminals causing havoc in some parts of the county are arrested and taken to court.
Kabogo said that security of the county must be ensured for development to be realised.
“We cannot realise development when criminals are prowling and causing havoc,” he said.
