Kiambu Governor, William Kabogo, has dismissed claims that there are no medicine in public hospitals and health centres in the county.

Dismissing the claims as false the Governor said that the county has enough medicine.

Speaking at his office in Thika on Thursday Kabogo termed the claims as rumours, false and meant to tarnish his administration. 

“All public hospitals and clinics in Kiambu have enough medicine to cater for all people,” said Kabogo.

The Governor said that the county has invested heavily in medicine and other equipment.

He urged locals to visit public hospitals assuring them that they will get quality services and proper medical care.

On the same note, Kabogo called on health workers in the county to dedicate their time and serve patients.

He assured them that the county government is working on policies that will improve their welfare.

Kabogo said that provision of health care services is crucial and important for the society.

He said that his government will partner with the private sector and investors to boost health services.
