Kabogo says that various roads have been earmarked for repair and renovations adding that works will start soon. He observed that dairy farmers are incurring losses as a result of poor road networks and that this has hampered growth of the county’s economy.

“My government has set aside enough funds to oversee construction of roads in all parts of this county.  Sections of the Kiambu-Githunguri road that have been under construction will be commissioned soon,” he said.

Kabogo added that Githunguri dairy farmers have been complaining of the poor state of roads which is affecting transportation.

He said the constituency is the county’s high milk producer and that improving roads will help farmers access the market. Kabogo also promised to oversee construction of modern drainage systems and installation of street lights.

The governor said the county is partnering with developers for development projects aimed at improving the lives of the people.

Kabogo said that development of proper infrastructure will help in making the county a 24-hour economy and in the process create employment opportunities.
