He urged residents to learn to solve issues in a diplomatic way.

"Demonstration is an old strategy of address issues," said Kabogo.

The governor expressed his concerns with leaders who influence the public against him saying the campaign period is not yet near and they should focus on building the nation.

The traders were led by Thika MP Alice Ng’ang’a.

They were protesting over increased taxed and levies to business enterprises by the county government.

The county boss termed the demonstration as incompetence and malicious influence urging residents to only pick the right advices from politicians.

The governor challenged the leaders who spearheaded the demonstration to prove to him and the people of Kiambu that they are competent leaders by establishing development in the county.

He said that they are all petty politics which needs sober minds to accommodate them and he will not relent in ensuring Kiambu county move forwards despite political affiliation.

He said that no leader will teach him how to govern the county thus they should wait for their time.
