Ngewa Ward residents have given Kiambu Governor an ultimatum of up to Friday next week to issue them with their bursary cheques failure to which they will demonstrate to his office.
Led by their MCA, Karungo Thang'wa, residents say that Kabogo was to issue them with the bursary cheques on Monday this week but decided to withhold them because of the sharp criticism he has received from the MCA.
"Our children are at home due to lack of school fees and somebody somewhere thinks that he can decide to give it or keep it," wonders Thang'wa.
"I want to say that I will not sit down and watch. We need the Ngewa ward cheques immediately or he will see the wrath of Ngewa people,” warned Thang'wa.
The MCA noted that the era when government was sidelining some regions whose leaders were opposed to, are gone.
"This is not his money. He should know that what is ours must be given to us," added Thang'wa.
Thang'wa has been a fierce critic of Kabogo even initiating an impeachment motion against him late last year.
