The donation, according to Kabogo, will help boost the health services in the constituency where residents had been appealing for enhanced health sector in the sub county.

Kabogo urged the residents to be patient since the county government has set aside funds to equip health centres in the county by the end of the financial year.

He said that he is willing to work with the private sector to boost health in Kiambu citing the recent donation of more than six ambulances in Sigona that has greatly facilitated the health sector in the ward.

“We are working to develop the health sector. We are appealing to the private sector to join hands in this project of making Kiambu a better place,” said Kabogo.

Kabogo insisted that in partnership with Kiambu Health CeC Jonah Mwangi, all the public hospitals in the sub county will be upgraded to improve the county health status which affects the economy of the country since an unhealthy person cannot build the nation.

The county health CeC said that Gatundu North will be the next project in ensuring Kiambu County has healthy people who can work towards vision 2030.
