Focusing on the future generals and forgetting the past are two major issues that Raila Odinga told ex-Kiambu governor William Kabogo which have helped him move on.
Last year, Kabogo accused Deputy President William Ruto of allegedly interfering with Jubilee nominations which were won by Ferdinand Waititu.
And weeks after meeting Raila for handshake, Kabogo says he has learnt a lot from the veteran leader, a reason why he has become a 'stronger' politician than before.
"I am stronger than before. I met Raila and he told me elections are not a matter of life and death. What matters is how we shape our politics for future generations," he told Citizen TV.
He added: "We must forget the past and that makes him keep going. I have also discovered that it works too."
Asked whether Kenyan elections have ever been fair, Kabogo said the country has a long to go on issues pertaining electoral justice, adding that Supreme Court could have not nullified Uhuru Kenyatta's victory is the system was fair.
On 2022 politics, Kabogo warned politicians against engaging in campaign mood adding that those culpable should be charged with treason.
