Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has assured locals that his government is committed to ensuring all roads marked for repairs and renovation are completed by end of the year.

While inspecting ongoing road constructions in Gitothua Ward, Ruiru Sub County on Friday, Kabogo said that his government has set aside adequate funds this financial year (2016/2017) to repair and renovate all roads.

Governor Kabogo said that his government is banking on proper infrastructure to boost economic development.

Kabogo further revealed that his administration had partnered with foreign investors to develop modern infrastructure in the county.

Last month the Kiambu government signed a deal with Israel on infrastructure development.

The deal will see Israel help Kiambu government renovate roads using a special enzyme that provides for good standard roads.

The Governor said that his government is keen to fulfill all the development pledges it made to the locals before the next general elections.

Kabogo is seeking locals support for a second term as governor in next year’s general elections.
