Kiambu County politics have taken another shape after the former Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu expressed his great urge to clinch the Kiambu Gubernatorial seat come 2017 promising to work for the people and prove his hardwork.

Waititu won in the Jubilee Alliance Party nominations over the weekend and therefore became the flag bearer of the oncoming Kabete by-election top contestant.

Governor William Kabogo, following the utterances by the former MP has said that he will not be shaken by anyone saying that he has proved to the Kiambu people that he is hardworking and that he will win the 2017 elections once again.

The area MPs led by Alice Ng’ang’a (Thika), Kimani Ichngw’a (Kikuyu) and the Ngew MCA Karungo Wa Thang’wa were caught on record saying that Kiambu has gotten a saviour after the victory of Waititu who will be their candidate come 2017.

The leaders from the Jubilee Coalition, Senate Majority Leader Kithure Kindiki included were present and lauded Waititu, an incident that led to the ‘shouting’ from the Kabete residents who said; ‘Kabogo Must go’.

Governor Kabogo who spoke over the weekend in Ruiru said that he is there to stay and no ‘stranger’ will destruct peace of Kiambu people.

He has called on the residents to stand united against hatred and incitement saying that he will work for them until they tell him to rest.
