The county boss faulted the men, saying that they are dragging the county behind, and urged them to be part of the development set aside by the county.

He said that men in the society according to the African culture are viewed as the strongest, and giving up on the development shows lack of interest in the ongoing projects his government is setting in place.

Kabogo ridiculed that incase of any danger, women and children will be at risk due to the absence of men.

“What if the snake or danger happens to attack our women, where are the men to protect our children and wives?” joked Kabogo

Kabogo, who was speaking at Witeithie estate on Wednesday, urged men to come out in large numbers and support the women, whom he said are gradually overtaking them in terms of good decision making.

The legislator has however lauded the Kiambu women for the persistence and interest in development, encouraging them to continue with the same spirit, terming it as good and loyal citizenship of Kiambu County.

He revealed that he will establish women offices in Thika to help them air their grievances and the county to come to their rescue.
