“My colleagues from different counties should come out handy and discourage this issue, of FGM, it’s a pervert behavior, barbaric and shameful,” said Kabogo.
Kabogo further expressed his concerns about increased number of abortions in the county and appealed for mothers to always confide with their daughters to discourage the uncouth behaviours which he considers murder.
He cautioned the physicians who perform the injustice act to shy away from the act since the government will be vigilant in them and they will be brought to books in the court of law.
“Those doctors or physicians who perform this heinous act are risking their jobs and I tell them that their days are numbered since we will launch a crackdown and they will be brought to books,” assured the governor.
The legislator has however promised to support girl child education and to include them in the next financial bill of 2015/2016 to bring up educated mothers who can defend their rights in families to avoid domestic violence in the county.
