Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has said that his government will work with local and foreign investors to promote development in the county.

Speaking during the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of Tatu Industrial Park in Ruiru Sub County on Tuesday, Kabogo said that the county government is open to local and foreign investments.

The Kiambu county boss added that his government has initiated various partnerships with the local and the foreign investors aimed at boosting service delivery.

“In our quest to propel development as a county we are open to the support of local and international investors so that our people can get much better services,” said the Kiambu governor.

The county boss said that the government is working on a framework to encourage foreign investments. He said that the county has a good business environment adding that investors should not shy away.

He said his government will give incentives to investors seeking to establish business in the county. He observed that through investments job opportunities will be created for the many unemployed youths.

The governor also intimidated that poverty will be eradicated through local-foreign investments.

The ground breaking ceremony was attended by Industrialization Cabinet Secretary Adan Mohammed among other officials.
