Kiambu Governor Willliam Kabogo has said he can work with Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu if he "behaves."

However, he said it was like looking for a snowball in hell to expect Waititu to change.

"If he has not started to behave at the age of 55, do you expect him to change in any way? I can work with him, unfortunately, he cannot change," Kabogo said on JKL TV show on Wednesday.

He said that he had sued Waititu for accusing him of drug trafficking and the case was still before the court.

"They even say that am married to Harun Mwau's daughter but Mwau doesn't even have a daughter. My wife isn't a daughter of Mwau. All these stories were concocted back while I was vying for Juja MP to sink my chances of winning the parliamentary seat then. They, however, didn't work," added Kabogo.

Mwau is often associated with drug trafficking though no evidence has ever been tabled to implicate him.

Kabogo exuded confidence that he will be re-elected back to his position saying that his work on the ground speaks for itself.

He also noted that recent polls had placed him ahead of his main rival Ferdinand Waititu whom he said is on a downward trajectory.

"The writings are on the wall as polls show and my close competitor pose no threat to my re-election bid," he said.

The governor also denied allegations that he is arrogant and out of touch with his constituents' problems.
