Kabogo is to appear in court on 5, August for remarks he made of the Cord leader, Raila Odinga on November 25, 2015.

“The media should ask Raila to put a stop to his stupid actions. We don't like stupidy," said Kabogo.

The governor made these remarks at the Thika Stadium.

"We should not waste time with boys. I have often told you that the thing is not good because it is not something that you can detach, it retards a person's backward mentality," said Kabogo.

The governor was summoned by Ogembo who was given the go ahead by DPP, Keriako Tobiko.

Members of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party attacked the governor stating that his abuse towards Raila was petty.

Kabogo made these remarks after the former prime minister and Machakos senator, Johnston Muthama after they insulted President Uhuru Kenyatta.
